Celebrate Mother’s Day with a Morning of Mindful Motion

Join us for a gentle, rejuvenating Tai Chi practice as we honor the mothers in our community with peace, balance, and vitality.

This special session features students from Seeking Tai Chi, but we are opening our doors to the public to share the joy of this "meditation in motion." Whether you are a complete beginner or a senior looking for gentle exercise, you’ll be guided through foundational Tai Chi movements designed to start the day with gratitude.

  • Follow Along: We’ll practice accessible fundamentals together.

  • Watch & Relax: For some of our more intricate routines, feel free to simply watch and enjoy the flowing energy of the practitioners.

Space is limited to ensure a comfortable experience for everyone. Please register below to save your spot!

Celebrating AAPI Heritage Month with Community Wellness!

I’m honored to once again support Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital and Bristol Myers Squibb at their annual AAPI Heritage Month Community Wellness Day — now the fourth year I’ve been invited to share Tai Chi with our community.

Saturday, May 2, 2026
11 a.m. – 2 p.m.
RWJUH New Brunswick – Arline & Henry Schwartzman Courtyard, 1 Robert Wood Johnson Place, New Brunswick, NJ 08901
(Parking validated)

This free community event brings together health screenings, wellness resources, cultural organizations, music, giveaways, and more — all dedicated to uplifting Asian American & Pacific Islander communities and promoting whole‑person health.

I’ll be leading a Tai Chi practice session starting around 12:45pm, offering gentle movements to loosen the joints, calm the mind, and introduce one classical Tai Chi form. It’s always a joy to see new and returning participants discover how accessible and healing Tai Chi can be.

Thank you to RWJUH, BMS Pan Asian Network, and all supporting partners for continuing to champion community wellness and cultural celebration. I’m grateful for the opportunity to contribute each year and look forward to another meaningful day together.

Come join us — move, breathe, learn, and celebrate AAPI Heritage Month with us.
